Why start now?

Like many before me, I never thought I would ever create a Blog; so what changed my mind? I was recently asked to design and knit a baby blanket for a friend, my first ever paid commission. It got me thinking that I should start keeping a record of the things I make, whether they are to give as gifts, commissioned, or knitted for charity. This point in time also coincides with a friend and myself starting the process of setting up a local Craft Group (no name for it yet).
